They attach particular importance to the training and support of the target group, as they are one of the ways in which they see a more sustainable future. They are not only focusing on training and developing their own employees, but also aim to broaden the scope of this cooperation and, beyond their own companies, to support the development of skills that can help disadvantaged young people to enter the labour market, improve their chances of finding a job or even support them in starting their own business.<\/p>\t\t\t\t<\/div>\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t\t\t

For McDonald’s in Hungary, it is of paramount importance that it is not only present in the communities where it operates with its services and products, but that it can also play an active role as a member and supporter of the local community. In this spirit, in cooperation with United Way Hungary, as a professional partner, the McDonald’s for the Employment of Young Professionals programme was launched last year.
Unfortunately, a significant proportion of young people starting their careers do not have the basic skills and competences to improve their chances of finding a job.

This is a complex problem that requires cooperation between education, civil society, employment services, employers and others. Only through the power of communities can success be achieved. This is why community building was an important aspect of the call for proposals.

Common issues and problems can be solved most effectively at local level by working together. Local ownership is also crucial for the long-term sustainability of the programmes, and successful proposals have required the cooperation of several NGOs.<\/p>\t\t\t\t<\/div>\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t\t\t

By making the application a reality, they can give confidence, purpose and faith to young people who would certainly not take their first steps without it. Young people are involved in the project as beneficiaries.
