Step 5: Training on Pitching and Presenting Ideas
Start with the basics.
Before you dive into storytelling and public speaking, let’s get clear on the essentials of your project idea. A good pitch starts with a solid understanding of what you’re doing, why it matters, and who it’s for.
Take a moment to review your project idea and answer these simple questions:
Project Title:
What’s the name of your project?
One-sentence summary:
Can you describe your project in one clear sentence?
What problem are you addressing?
Why does this project need to exist?
Who will benefi t?
Who are you trying to help or involve?
What’s your goal?
What do you hope your project will achieve?
Once you have fi lled these in, you will be ready to shape your pitch, tell your story with confi dence, and inspire others to support your vision.
After this, you will move on to:
- Learning how to structure your pitch
- Watching short training videos for tips and inspiration
- Recording or uploading your own 3-minute pitch
- Receiving feedback from mentors and peers
